Guerrila Marketing

"Guerrilla Marketing" was coined by Jay Conrad Levinson in his popular 1984 book Guerrilla Marketing, as an unconventional system of promotions on a very low budget, by relying on time, energy and imagination instead of big marketing budgets. The term has since entered the popular vocabulary to also describe aggressive, unconventional marketing methods generically.

Levinson identifies the following principles as the foundation of guerrilla marketing:

* Guerrilla Marketing is specifically geared for the small business and entrepreneur.
* It should be based on human psychology instead of experience, judgment, and guesswork.
* Instead of money, the primary investments of marketing should be time, energy, and imagination.
* The primary statistic to measure your business is the amount of profits, not sales.
* The marketer should also concentrate on how many new relationships are made each month.
* Create a standard of excellence with an acute focus instead of trying to diversify by offering too many diverse products and services.
* Instead of concentrating on getting new customers, aim for more referrals, more transactions with existing customers, and larger transactions.
* Forget about the competition and concentrate more on cooperating with other businesses.
* Guerrilla Marketers should always use a combination of marketing methods for a campaign.
* Use current technology as a tool to empower your business.

deworm yourself

remember during yur children days when you have worm problem? cacing dalam perut... aiyaa, banyak betul, masa tu bukan berak taik, tapi berak cacing! err.. korang tengah makan ke tu?

anyway, went to see a doctor. he's a talkative one. gave a lot of advise to atie and me. apparently we need to deworm ourselves every 6 months! with all the food that we ate, some of it is not properly or fully cooked and they still have worms inside em! urggg?? how can be like that.

and the worms can live inside your stomach for years to come. beranak pinak lagi.

so, to dewom yourself, buy 400 grams of Zentell and just take the pill. it will kill all the worms and u'd have a clean stomach ....

Installation thin client at library uia

today we got installation of thin client at uia. this is the first installation for thin client. alhamdulillah everything went well despite hiccups from the end user. they did not really prepare for the installation and because of that it took longer than it should. and we didn't finished the installation in total because of the delay. hope to finish by next week.

Raja Petra in jail

I would like to pay my tribute to Raja Petra. he is already in jail because he refused to pay bail for the accusations made against him. don't know whether he is right or wrong. my interest in him is purely because he is a good blogger and a damn good writer!

today, I got news that he refused to meet anyone and that he is under food strike. he is a guy that is not afraid of anyone or anything. a man above his own right. wonder what would happened to him. to me, he is a legend in his own right.
